the soundwaves creative certificate of origin (coo) was originally put together to provide an additional layer of authentication and to provide our collectors/customers with a premium level of asset protection. soundwaves creative diamond certified prints traditionally have had a coo digitally created and then sent to the collector post purchase. as we build this system and the soundwaves creative archive of prints grow, we have decided that it was time for a physical version that is convenient to for our collectors to store & prevent loss. enter our new premium adhesive coo. moving forward all of our non show edition prints will have our newly designed coo attached to the rear left side of the print. the new coo is laid out as follows, the archive indicator is prominently placed on the far left. the top is lined with our soundwaves creative corporate header. below you will find the corresponding letter and number that archives your specific print. to the right of that is the "edition". the edition will show your prints diamond rating and in the future will display other edition indicators that we will be introducing. from there, we move down the coo to the field that displays the number of prints made in the particular edition. the specific print # is written by hand onto the coo by a soundwaves creative team member. this is a big improvement as it allows us to not place a large number on the front of the artwork that interrupts the imagery. from there, you will see "printed on" which represents the exact date your print was made by hand. the last interactive field is "packed/shipped." this area is the date we pack and ship the print out. the soundwaves team member that is responsible for this process then initials the pack/ship date by hand. lastly, you will see "charleston, sc - 2023." this is where the print was created, physically comes from & the year it was issued. in closing, our new premium adhesive coo is one of many steps we are taking on the move forward to provide the soundwaves creative customer with an unrivaled collectible experience. an experience that aims to give collectors no doubt that when purchasing limited edition soundwaves creative merchandise that their hard earned money is going towards an asset that can and will appreciate over time.
